Distribution Groups

Distribution groups allow the user to send reports to multiple user’s myReports at run time. The Distribution Group field is present on each of the reports pages.

Clicking the eyeball icon allows the user to configure a distribution group and the users associated. The Share with All Users check box allows displaying of this distribution group for all software users instead of merely the logged in user.

Note: Reports are placed in myReports at runtime. For instance, with SSRS reports, the Send to myReports button needs to be clicked to generate the distributions. Distributions do not occur when the user just runs the report to the SSRS pop-up window.

Reports that are shared with another user will have an icon next to them denoting it is a shared report and generated by another user.
